The artist

I´ve been staying at the city of Querétaro for almost two months now. Accustomed to the jungle and the beach, this neo-colonial, conservative town felt truly oppressive to me. Therefore on the weekends I´ve tried to escape to natural reserves or -anywhere- with a bit more green.

One of those little trips was to San Miguel de Allende.

First I spent many hours in the reserve of termal waters called ¨ Lugar Escondido ¨. Beautiful. I felt my energy recharged and my heart so much happier. Just hanging around among trees, accompanied by birds, butterflies, even fishes and turtles, and transparent, naturally blue termal waters, made a huge difference in my level of well-being.

After that, when the sun wasn´t scorching the Earth anymore, we went to visit the town. It is pretty, even if it is yet another heavily Spanish influenced one (not interesting to me in the least).

The most attractive part was this: I walked into a beautiful patio, with a Cafe, some little shops, and several intriguing paintings with Aztec symbols on the walls. I looked around and found the actual painter, working on a new one. 

Besides me, he was the only one without a mask (no fear, no submission). He had the height and the face typical of the original Mexicans and was absorbed in his painting.

I observed curious and asked what was he depicting, he looked up with presence and intensity and said ¨ Ooh…look at you, this is the one who brought you here, the Aztec god of Time ¨.

He had a couple of books with Aztec drawings so I asked a few questions about them. He shared with me about the symbols… some represent Gods, some parts of Nature, some aspects of the human personality, ¨like what Jung named the shadows ¨. Listening to him, I could see this man had knowledge encompassing several fields. 

Some of those symbols were related to numbers, like Water, Jaguar, Flower, Corn Cane, Rabbit, Ceremonial Knife, Crocodile and so on…He told me Aztecs gave names to their children according to the number of the day and symbol in which they were born, and based on that, they were educated since little on a specific trade. For example: if you were born on the Crocodile day the baby was trained to be a warrior, if you were born on Flower day you were trained in different arts like painting, singing, dancing.

He then asked me if I wanted to know my Aztec name. 

Well after that introduction, in which I would know what would have been my destiny in that fascinating culture, I couldn´t say no. Looking at an organized pile of little leather bags with symbols I thought ¨let´s see at what point comes the sell ¨. But the info was so interesting, and he was a living example of his artist/warrior spirit, that I remained open.

We calculated the number of my birthday and he immediately hugged me long and tight. He said, ¨ sister, that´s why I felt so comfortable with you since I saw you ¨. He informed me of my name and how would I had been trained since childhood in the Aztec empire. He also mentioned characteristics of my personality (spot on), and then, giving me another hug he whispered ¨let the past go, let that burden go. Let the package of others go, only carry yours, and if possible, carry none!¨. 

I thanked him and mentioned he hugged freely, ¨wasn´t he afraid of the virus? I asked. He said, ¨L´m vaccinated, so no problem¨. 

I felt so disappointed and sad, but also in disbelief…I said ¨really?¨. He said with a sly smile, ¨of course, all people on my age (70-80?) are vaccinated now, what would you expect?¨ And seeing my expression he added: ¨What about you, what do you think about it?¨ I said…¨well, do you really want to know my opinion?¨ ¨Yes indeed, I´m always open to learn ¨. Spoken as a wise man.

I told him the Pharma companies have not published the results of long term research, that most of them make human cells generate an artificial protein that can cause a systemic inflammation state, that could very well provoke grave autoimmune diseases, that vaccinated people have presented signs of serious affectation of the nervous system, mimicking for example constant seizures, of the coagulation cascade, provoking intravascular clotting with strokes, bleedings and even death, that the companies producing them have all been found guilty of misleading the public about their products and have paid billions of dollars in fines…

He nodded every time and even added some other details about them and the situation we are in.

So I asked, ¨why then, why did you get the shot? Please at least don´t take the second dose…¨ He said…¨Do you really think I got vaccinated? I say that so people won´t bother me. My protection is from Nature.¨

I then could breath more easily. A man carrying wisdom from the ages was not going to succumb to the depopulation plan. He is going to transition on his own time. His knowledge and clarity are real, I thought.

I asked several other questions about the Codices on his table and he said, ¨I cannot answer all that right now, there are so many details, you would have to live with me for at least a month to learn them ¨. He mentioned he has formally given lessons about this, he had students. ¨I´m a teacher, but many people only listen if you are in a University, if you aren´t, they think you don´t know anything, and even mock you¨. I agreed.

I told him I´d like to buy the little bag with the symbol of my name to support him, asking for permission to hand him the money as an offering. He looked pleased and his energy opened, as if feeling seen and respected. He prepared my name on the bag. 

Then, disregarding the public visiting the place, he took a big shell and blew very loud on it, making everyone turn. Oblivious to them, he closed his eyes and said some things in a language I didn´t understand, moving his hands as in gathering something from the air. Then he put my name on my neck. Apparently, 1000 years ago I would have been called ¨ Black Orchid ¨ and I would have been trained as an artist.
